GDPR was enforced in March 2018. However, we always the feeling that we don’t have the control on our private data. We delegate the control to a set of public and private organizations. Today we only have the baton with the ADP as regulation authority.

In 2019, a new initiative was started called European Self Sovereign Identity (ESSI). The Self Sovereign Identity is a concept centralized on the individual. Each user should full access to his private data without the intervention of a external public or private organization

This presentation introduce the Self Sovereign identity which is based on a blockchain technology
